Tomen Y Clawdd - The Monkey Tump

Tommen-Y-Clawdd is an abandoned Norman motte and bailey castle locally known as The Monkey Tump and can be found in Tonteg in South Wales. In years gone by this was a favourite place for the children of the local community to play, however today this is discouraged as it has been recognised as an Ancient Monument.
We spent many happy hours lighting fires and roasting potatoes. I wonder if the wood sorrell still grow there.
